Attention will then turn back to the pool in Sheffield for Swim England summer nationals running from 29th July to 3rd August where a few of the British qualifiers will be racing some additional/different events and we will have a further 3 fresh athletes eager to make their mark at Home Nations level.

Then finally wrapping up the summer championships, the Welsh summer meet will be held at Swansea on 1st to 5th August where Xanthe Carrington-Abraham (50m Fly, 100m Fly, 50m Free & 100m Free) and Abigail Haldane (100m Back & 200m Back) will be proudly waving the Blue and Green flag!

All of these swimmers have done brilliantly simply to qualify for these Championships – achievements of which they and their families should be hugely proud, and reward for all their hard work and dedication.  However, I know they will all be aiming to showcase their talents in style so I’m sure I speak for everyone at Worcester Swimming Club when I wish them all the very best of luck!!!
